Home of the reigning State and National Champions!
About Us
The Lanier Dance program was started in 1993 under the guidance of principal Brenda Lanclos. The program began under the direction of Stacey (Shively) Kornegay as one team of approximately 100 girls in grades 6-8. The program expanded over the years and now involves almost 500 girls and boys. Lanier Dance is under the direction of Kelsey Joseph and Suzy Wolfe who are proud to offer instruction in jazz, pom, modern, lyrical, contemporary, high kick, novelty, prop, hip hop, breakdance, house and ballet.
Lanier Dance includes 6 competition groups, 2 additional performance groups, and non-performance dance classes. Students participate from August-May. One of the unique features of Lanier Dance is that any student who wants to participate in dance is placed in an appropriate class- no one is cut from the dance program.
Lanier Dance is very proud to be the reigning Texas State and National Grand Champions!
